Automatic Squeegee-Sharpening System

Setting up to screen print large-format graphics can be a costly proposition, because the variables in the process–and the diligence required to manage each part of the workflow–increase with the scale of the graphics. A lack of careful management anywhere in the shop can lead to expensive waste in time and materials. The demand for high-quality graphics and record turnaround is ever increasing, which means screen shops must make efficiency, consistency, and repeatability a priority.

In response, many graphics screen printers turn to computer-to-screen systems and automatic presses. But some of these shops still rely on manual labor to prepare squeegees for jobs that ultimately determine the business
