BIGink, Seattle, WA, a custom and large-format digital printing company, announced it purchased Ivey Photo’s business-to-business division located in Seattle. As of July 1, BIGink acquired key equipment and the company’s associated client list.

Within the last year, BIGink has expanded its facility from 15,000 to 23,000 sq ft and has added personnel and equipment. BIGink says it has seen a steady stream of new clients and opportunities since ProLab left the market in April, and president John Scholl anticipates that this growth will continue as of result of the Ivey Photo acquisition. In the first half of this year, BIGink has seen a 12% increase in new customers from the same period last year.

BIGink currently has eight employees who previously worked at Ivey. “Their knowledge and experience has been a valuable component to the company’s recent growth and success,” Scholl says. “We think this acquisition is a natural fit for our company.”
