Call for Entries: Printing Industries of America’s 2015 Education Awards of Excellence and the 2015 Frederick D. Kagy Education

Printing Industries of America is seeking to honor outstanding educators, industry trainers, and programs in the graphic communications field with the 2015 Education Awards of Excellence and the 2015 Frederick D. Kagy Education Award of Excellence.

This year’s presentation for both awards will take place before an audience of educators, researchers, and other industry professionals at TAGA’s 68th Annual Technical Conference, March 20–23, 2016, in Memphis, Tennessee.

Printing Industries of America is seeking to honor outstanding educators, industry trainers, and programs in the graphic communications field with the 2015 Education Awards of Excellence and the 2015 Frederick D. Kagy Education Award of Excellence.

This year’s presentation for both awards will take place before an audience of educators, researchers, and other industry professionals at TAGA’s 68th Annual Technical Conference, March 20–23, 2016, in Memphis, Tennessee.

The 2015 Printing Industries of America Education Awards of Excellence

Education Award recipients join 30 years of notable printing educators and trainers, such as Larry Kroll, Thomas Schildgen, John Leininger, and Susan Kinney. An engraved plaque is presented to the recipient(s) to commemorate their accomplishments.

Educators from all academic levels and trainers in all segments of the printing industry are eligible. The competition is not limited to the United States; educators of any nationality may enter. Membership through Printing Industries of America Affiliate Organizations is not required for nomination.

The 2015 Frederick D. Kagy Education Award of Excellence

This award honors a school’s exemplary educational programs in the field of printing and graphic communications. It signifies the forward progress of our industry through commitment to quality education. A commemorative award is presented to the school to recognize this achievement. In addition, the winning school can select up to $1,000 worth of textbooks published by Printing Industries Press.

Only graphic communications programs offered by middle schools, high schools, or junior/community colleges are considered for this award. A nominated school must be staffed by at least one Printing Industries Teacher Member. To inquire if a school is staffed by a Printing Industries Teacher Member or to purchase a $49 annual teacher membership, call Member Central at 800-910-4283.
