Colex Debuts Sharpcut Flatbed Cutter

The Sharpcut Flatbed Cutter System from Colex (www.colex.com) is designed for finishing complex digital display graphics.

The 5 x 10-ft cutting table features a Triple Interchangeable Tool-Head station as well as a six-zone vacuum system, and includes a fixed knife, oscillating knife (14,000 strokes/min), and router (available in 1 or 3 hp).

The 5 x 10-ft cutting table features a Triple Interchangeable Tool-Head station as well as a six-zone vacuum system, and includes a fixed knife, oscillating knife (14,000 strokes/min), and router (available in 1 or 3 hp).

Other tools include the universal drawing tool, V-cut knife for 90-degree folds, Coroplast knife, creasing wheel, and universal single-edge knife designed to cut Sintra up to 6 mm thick. The Sharpcut’s Optiscout Vision Registration System features a high-resolution color camera; the ability to import more than 30 file formats including CorelDraw, Illustrator, and AutoCAD; user-friendly material library; and the ability to read any diameter registration mark, crop mark, or square.

Options include a semiautomatic board feeder as well as a digital roll holder.
