DEK Receives Awards, ISO Certification

DEK, Schaumburg, IL, says it received a trio of top honors at APEX, which was held in February in Anaheim, CA. For the third consecutive year, DEK was selected for IPC's Innovative Technology Showcase, which recognizes products in the electronics manufacturing industry that are truly innovative and deliver new and unique process-enabling technologies to the marketplace. DEK's HawkEye RTC, a board transport and post-print verification pairing that enable DEK's Europe platform to deliver a 4-sec core cycle time, was chosen for the honor.

DEK also received SMT magazine's Vision Award for Interactiv, a system that provides 24/7 Web-based support. The company also received Circuits Assembly magazine's Service Excellence Award, which recognizes companies that excel in customer service as ranked by their own customers. This award is the fourth consecutive win for DEK.

In other news, DEK announced that its Shekou, China manufacturing facility has obtained the ISO 9001 quality-management-system certification, following an independent assessment by BSI.
