The Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP), the leading comprehensive sustainability certifier of print facilities, today announces that Digital Color Concepts (dcc) of Mountainside, NJ has attained SGP Certification.

For nearly 30 years, dcc has been an innovative leader in the New York metropolitan printing and pre-press community with a priority to support the highest social and environmental standards in the printing industry. Its award winning pieces – from brochures to grand format graphics, are produced using digital, sheetfed, large format and grand format state of the art, modern equipment.

SGP certification demonstrates dcc’s use of best sustainable printing practices and commitment to continuous improvement. "We believe that sustainability is an essential ingredient for our long-term success as it strengthens our trust and reputation with our clients and the community," states Don Terwilliger, president, dcc. "Employee health and safety along with the climate change of the environment is of the utmost concern to us. SGP certification provides the tools and support to ensure we meet these goals and stay at the forefront of this important journey within the printing industry."

dcc strongly believes corporate responsibility means taking care of the environment and is continuously looking for ways to manage their use of energy and materials, as well as do more while using less. "As a SGP Resource Partner, we at the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) are thrilled that dcc chose SGP certification to validate its sustainability efforts and commitment to continuous improvement," states Marci Kinter, vice president, Government and Business Information, SGIA. "We look forward to working with them as they continue on this journey."
