Digitizing Software

Prodigi’s Intelligent Digitizing Software (IDS) is designed with editing tools that, according to Prodigi, eliminate the need to learn how to use other graphics programs. IDS is designed to take pictures from a scanner or digital camera, any TrueType font, and other digital images, and automatically turn them into stitched designs. IDS also supports multiple-line lettering, printable worksheets, fabric-background settings for simulated views, object alignment and manipulation, font editing, node editing, automatic border and stitch control, manual punch tools, and more. The software automates underlays, pull compensation, tie stitching, and density. It allows users to program stops in embroidered designs and color changes in any area. Free updates and online support are available. Midwest Distributors, 951 Harmsted Ct., St. Charles, MO 63301, 636-724-6400, 877-724-6400, fax: 636-724-6448, Web: www.prodigiemb.com.
