Direct-to-Fabric Inkjet Printer

Graphics One has launched what it describes as the first direct-to-fabric printer priced for less than $15,000. The GO RIO TX is a 42-inch printer developed specifically for the flag and banner market. It can image into a variety of farbic types and paper, whcih facilitates it use in transfer printing. The system uses GO's Xtreme Ink, and Graphics One says a nother formulation, designed for uncoated cotton, nylon, wool, and other fabrics will be available later in the year. GO's RIO TX comes bundled with Wasatch SoftRIP for RIO, new ink-delivery system, fabric-drying system, and media-handling system. Graphics One also offers an optional 44-in. sublimator for curing imaged fabrics. Graphics One, 3300 N.
