Direct-to-Garment Inkjet Printer

The DTG Xpress, available from SWF East, is designed to accommodate a maximum imaging area of 44 x 96 in. and imaging resolutions up to 2880 dpi. The direct-to-garment inkjet printer is based on the Epson 9600. According to SWF East, it can print 12 large designs or 16-20 standard-size images on garments in one pass. DTG Xpress features an eight-color piezo printhead, uses proprietary water-based inks, and comes with a custom platen system configured to each customer’s workflow.
