Dual-Purpose Digital Printing System

The Dualjet digital printing system from Innowave Solutions is a two-in-one desktop solution designed for sublimation and cotton-garment printing. The system uses ArTainium sublimation ink and Chromablast cotton ink from Sawgrass Technologies and can be used to decorate 100%-cotton T-shirts, sweatshirts, polo shirts, and polyester performance apparel. The Dualjet is offered as an entry-level solution based on the Epson R1800 printer with Innowave Solutions’ SpectraRIP software and as a production-level system based on the Epson 4800 printer with Wasatch Computer Technology’s SoftRIP software. Both solutions use Advanced Micro Piezo eight-channel printhead technology and support Windows 2000 or XP (Pro or Home Edition). The entry-level system features a maximum paper width of 13 in. (330 mm) and speeds of 55 sec for an 8.5 x 11-in. (216 x 279-mm) image, while the production-oriented system features a maximum paper width of 17 in. (432 mm) and speeds of 32 sec for an 8.5 x 11-in. image. Innowave Solutions LLC, 843-763-2500, 866-884-9283, fax: 843-763-7300, Web: www.innowavesolutions.com.
