DuPont recently made its portfolio of Artistri textile inks, which were previously available only with the company’s Artistri textile-decoration system, accessible to a select group of OEMs. Artistri inks are designed for roll-to-roll and direct-to-garment digital printing. They include Artistri 500 acid dye inks for printheads that require low-viscosity formulations for silk and nylon/elastane, Artistri P5000 pigmented inks for printheads that require low-viscosity formulations for cotton or cotton-rich blends (including wearables), and Artistri 700 acid, disperse, and reactive dye, as well as pigmented inks for printheads that require medium-viscosity formulations for a variety of textiles.
