EFI Forms Agreement with Pitman/Charrette

EFI, Foster City, CA, announced a new distribution agreement with Woburn, MA-based Pitman/Charrette that enables Pitman/Charrette to market and sell EFI-VUTEk wide-format printers and the Fiery XF production RIP in the North American commercial-print and display-graphics markets.

“This is a natural fit for us,” says Joe Demharter, president of Pitman. “The combination of EFI’s VUTEk printers, their industry-leading Fiery RIPs, color-management and color-profiling software, coupled with our sales and technical ability in both Pitman and Charrette, will provide a strong offering for customers moving into wide-format digital printing. The powerful blend of Pitman, Charrette, and EFI stands to bring significant new revenue-generating opportunities to our broad customer base, particularly among commercial printers looking to meet their customers’ growing need for superwide-format output.” EFI is located at 303 Velocity Way, Foster City, CA 94404, 650-357-3500, fax: 650-357-3907, Web: www.efi.com. Pitman/Charrette is located at 31 Olympia Ave., Woburn, MA 01801, 781-935-6000, Web: www.charrette-corp.com.
