EFI Launches Entry-Level UV LED Printer

At the 2017 ISA International Sign Expo, EFI introduced the Pro 16h, designed as an entry-level hybrid roll/flatbed UV LED printer. The standard configuration for the 16h is CMYK + two white ink channels; the printheads provide four-level grayscale print capability and resolution up to 1200 x 1200 dpi. Users can choose between six print modes – in Production Mode, the unit can print up to 476 sq ft/hr. The 16h can handle rigid and flexible substrates up to 65 in. wide with a max. full-bleed print width of 64 in. and max.

The printer features a vacuum-drive belt system with variable control and can handle rigid or roll media up to 100 lb. It is shipped with an embedded Fiery proServer RIP and is compatible with EFI’s web-to-print and MIS/ERP solutions.
