EFI Proofing Media Earns Certifications

Chromaticity, Inc., Grand Rapids, MI, and EFI, Foster City, CA, announce that standards organization IDEAlliance awarded SWOP and GRACoL certifications to EFI Validation 250 Premium Satin inkjet proofing media for the graphic-arts and design markets. Chromaticity is the authorized distributor of EFI Validation proofing media in North America.

Validation 250 is a 250-g/sq m proofing media for use with Epson UltraChrome K3 and similar inksets. The media’s white point and gamut capacity are designed to meet requirements of high-end commercial proofing as defined by GRACoL 7. IDEAlliance SWOP certification of EFI Validation proofing media ensures graphics, publishing, and production professionals that their color output represents consistent and accurate color to match the appearance of certified press proofs used in publication production.
