Epson Launches F-Series Dye-Sublimation Printers

Epson America has introduced its next-generation SureColor F-Series dye-sublimation inkjet printers. The three models all use the company’s UltraChrome DS ink with a new high-density black ink to improve ink efficiency and density, providing better tonal transitions and grayscale images on roll-to-roll fabrics, customized promotional products, soft signage, cut-and-sew apparel, home décor, and more.

The three models all use the company’s UltraChrome DS ink with a new high-density black ink to improve ink efficiency and density, providing better tonal transitions and grayscale images on roll-to-roll fabrics, customized promotional products, soft signage, cut-and-sew apparel, home décor, and more.

The 64-in. SureColor F9200, designed for higher volume roll-to-roll production, has a dual-printhead configuration and high-capacity (3-L) bulk ink system with an improved post-platen heater for seamless media handling and faster drying times. Maximum print speed is 1044 sq ft/hr.

The 44-in. SureColor F6200 and 64-in. F7200 machines each have 1.5-L bulk ink systems and max. print speeds of 634 sq ft/hr.

All models feature Epson’s PrecisionCore TFP variable-droplet printheads, take-up reel and media-transport system with a reported winding accuracy of ±2.5 mm, and Wasatch SoftRIP workflow.
