Kornit Digital, a leading manufacturer and innovator of digital textile printing systems, has appointed ESC Decoration Technologies GmbH & Co KG as its distributor for Germany. This new partner, also known by its abbreviated name ESC Decotec, is a branch of the Europa-Siebdruck-Centrum and specialises in digital and textile printing technology. Managing director Marcus Borghoff is responsible for the Kornit business at ESC Decotec together with his sister, Verena Borghoff.

Wilfried Kampe, managing director of Kornit Digital Europe GmbH, comments: “We are delighted that we have managed to acquire such a prestigious partner as ESC Decotec who can look back on a long and successful history in business. Expertise, customer orientation and a strong network in the market are important criteria for us when selecting a dealer, and there are barely any other companies in the local market that can offer prerequisites as good as ESC Decotec.”

The Europa-Siebdruck-Centrum was established in 1949 and has evolved into a leading provider of screen-printing, automatic screen washing and reclaiming machines and much more. The company has a showroom measuring more than 5,000 square m where it exhibits and demonstrates continuously updated printing technology. In order to be faster and more focused in its response within the rapidly growing textile and digital printing market, this division was split off to form a separate subsidiary in 2012.

Borghoff says: “In our eyes, Kornit Digital is the leading provider of textile direct printing systems and stands out from the competition through numerous innovations. The NeoPigment printing process, with inline pre-treatment, and the Avalanche Hexa six-colour machine are just two examples. We are looking forward to co-operating with the company and to making customised offers to our existing and new customers with Kornit technology.”

ESC Decotec has been appointed as an addition to Heinz Walz GmbH in Pfullingen, who has been the Kornit partner for Germany, Austria and Switzerland since 2008.
