FESPA Reports Success with Mexico World Expo

FESPA, Surrey, UK, announced that its first Latin American event for screen and digital printing drew nearly 9000 attendees. FESPA Mexico World Expo was held Aug. 21-23 and featured 150 exhibitors, as well as conference sessions led by international experts and Showcase Theatre, which featured several sessions on digital textile and UV printing, wide-format RIPs, and color management.

“It’s clear from the buoyant and growing Latin American market that there is a strong demand for a world-class printing event in the region,” says Frazer Chesterman, managing director of FESPA. “Visitor feedback affirms that FESPA delivered a top-notch show and provided attendees with a great experience, with all the trademark features of any world-class FESPA event. FESPA Mexico World Expo supplied something for everyone—valuable information on the latest innovations and product developments for both screen and digital printing, networking opportunities, and access to industry experts—to help take their business to the next level.”

FESPA acquired the show, originally marketed as imageWorld, in March from Cincinnati, OH-based ST Media Group Int’l. The next FESPA Mexico World Expo will take place Aug. 27-29, 2009 at Centro Banamex, Mexico City.
