M&R is pleased to announce final results for the two-day Finish First with Kruzer! competition at the 2015 Imprinted Sportswear Show (ISS) in Long Beach.

Eight randomly-selected teams of two (four teams per day) competed on Friday & Saturday, January 16th & 17th, with each day’s winner taking home a brand new Kruzer manual press.

The winners of Friday’s competition were Victor Delgadillo and Jose Maldonado of American Printworks in Los Angeles, California. Saturday’s winners were Luan Dinh Le and Gil Tibayan of X-Press Tees in Honolulu, Hawaii. Victor and Jose assembled their Kruzer in an impressive 46:32, while Luan and Gil posted the phenomenal time of 36:28.

M&R CEO Rich Hoffman was at the show to congratulate the winners. Said Hoffman, “Kruzer is an exceptional entry-level press, and it’s amazingly easy to assemble. We thought the 2015 Imprinted Sportswear Show (ISS) in Long Beach was a great venue to show off that ease of assembly though the Finish First with Kruzer! competition.

“Team members were given the opportunity to watch our Kruzer assembly video and browse the manual before assembling the press. The video covers every aspect of the process, so we fully expected fast assembly times. Even so, we were all amazed that two people new to Kruzer could assemble one in just over half an hour. It speaks both to the design of the press and the speed and talent of Luan and Gil of X-Press Tees.”

According to event emcee and M&R General Manager Mike Sonera, “It was an exciting event and tremendously fun to watch. Rich Hoffman and I would like to thank all those who participated, as well as those who worked so hard to make the event such a great hit at the show.”

Kruzer is M&R’s most affordable entry-level manual press, but it’s still built with M&R innovation, quality, and rugged construction. The press includes tapered-roller-bearing-supported upper and lower carousels, a precise micro-registration system, machined center shaft, and three-point pallet leveling system. Kruzer’s unique lever-adjusted off-contact system operates vertically, eliminating the need for a separate angle adjustment. Kruzer is available in a 6-color/4-station model, and it’s designed to fit through a 78 cm (31") doorway when disassembled. Side screen holders and solid aluminum, low-profile, rubber-coated pallets are standard.

Kruzer delivers unprecedented quality, performance, and value in a manual press. It’s ideal for startup screen printing shops and for small and mid-size automatic screen printing shops in need of an exceptionally affordable high-quality manual screen printing press for sampling and small runs.
