Flat Screen Module for Web Printing

Kammann’s new flat-screen web printing module is designed with an open architecture to allow integration with any narrow-web printing machine and with servo technology to enhance precision. Kammann says its flat screen-printing technology is less parts-, labor-, and time-intensive than traditional rotary screen printing for many applications and will greatly enhance printing flexibility. The module supports hot-melt, UV, or standard screen inks, and it incorporates a standard polyester screen mesh and aluminum frame. According to Kammann, the system’s cost compares favorably with conventional screens and can potentially save up to 80% of screen costs compared to rotary machines.
