Garment-Engraving Laser

Garment screen printers who are looking for new ways to decorate apparel may find what they need in the new SEIT Laser system from Tajima USA. The SEIT system allows users to engrave a picture, text, or logo directly onto a garment, as well as cut multiple layers of fabric in a single step. SEIT concentrates a beam of high-energy light to cut fabric as the laser moves along a predetermined course. Cutting depth is controlled by beam intensity. SEIT uses an X-Y pantograph system to control where the laser cuts. The garment remains stationary. The SEIT system can be used on suede, leather, denim, canvas, nylon, silk, fleece, flock, polyester, and more. The laser uses Tajima DG/ML by Pulse software for design creation and operation.
