GPA, the market leader in substrate solutions for digital, offset, and wide format printing, proudly announces the promotion of Jules Gonzales to Central Region Director of Sales and Strategic Accounts. In this role, he will provide leadership and support to GPA’s Business Development Managers in the Midwest, while continuing to service key national accounts in a strategic capacity.

During his six years at GPA as a Business Development Manager, Gonzales solidified his reputation as a supportive, creative, and results-driven professional. His proven track record of collaborative leadership, creating mutual business growth, and developing personalized solutions for his clients’ individual needs have been instrumental in his advancement. In 2014, his contributions were recognized when he won GPA’s Salesperson of the Year Award, which is presented to one employee each year for high levels of achievement in promoting GPA’s corporate goals. Prior to joining GPA, Gonzales’ experience in the graphic arts industry includes 12 years selling presses and press equipment, print, and outdoor advertising.

“Watching Jules’ professional growth over the years has been extremely gratifying for me,” said David Maucieri, GPA’s Senior Vice President of Sales. “Jules is a natural fit for the GPA sales leadership team; he is customer focused, well organized, and hardworking with the highest integrity. These positive attributes, combined with his business experience predating GPA, make him an outstanding fit for this new role.”

Gonzales holds a B.S. degree in Natural Resources from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. He is active in the print community through his membership in the Printing Industry Midwest (PIM), and has served as a judge for their annual Star of Excellence Awards for the past four years. He is also a member of the Digital Solutions Cooperative (Dscoop).
