GSG, a leading supplier to the screen printing, sign, digital imaging, and embroidery industries, announces the launch of its new e-commerce site, www.GoGSG.com. With over 20,000 essential and specialty products available for immediate sale to its customers, GoGSG.com has been developed to be the most comprehensive online products resource for the screen, sign and embroidery communities.

GoGSG.com features a vast selection of products from major manufacturers that include well-known screen printing brands such as CCI, Kiwo, M&R, Nazdar, PolyOne/Wilflex, Sefar, Stretch Devices, Ulano, Brother, and other leading suppliers. Digital product offerings include inks and equipment from, HP, Gerber, Mimaki, Roland, digital print media from 3M, Oracal, Arlon, Avery and Ultraflex, along with, software and colour management solutions from SAI, Caldera, Wasatch, and X-Rite. GSG also offers a complete line of embroidery equipment and supplies from ZSK, Isacord, Madeira, H&V, Groz-Beckert and others.

According to Rodney Williams, GSG’s Director of Marketing, “We’ve learned a lot of lessons since we first went into e-commerce in 2008. The new site is far easier to navigate and the purchase process is as smooth as any you’ll find on the web. Customers can shop online and pay by credit card, or register to become a terms customer, use the site to shop for products, and be billed for purchases.”

Rodney Williams went on to add that the new site has been thoroughly integrated with GSG’s sophisticated back-end inventory system so that shoppers can see which items are in-stock and which items may be temporarily unavailable. “Seeing an item listed as ‘In-Stock” assures a customer that they aren’t going to receive a notice in two days that the item is unavailable,” he stated. “Which means they’d have to either source that item again someplace else or make a second choice. It may seem like a relatively small thing, but it’s just one example of how we’re using technology at GSG to improve the customer experience.”

According to GSG President, Mark Granberry, “E-commerce is the best way to not only provide every printer and sign professional with immediate access to our complete line of products, but to allow customers to shop during off-hours when they’re not preoccupied in running their business.”

”We are very pleased with the response to the improved site thus far,” continued Mark Granberry. “We’ve had more than 800 people register as customers in the first couple of months since the site went live. There’s obviously a need for a reliable and responsive e-commerce provider in this market. There are other sites out there, but we believe that we offer the best product selection and support available. We’re committed to making the GoGSG.com site the best online resource for products and information in the industry.”
