Hanes Branded Printwear announces the launch of the new Hanes4Education program, which allows screen-print suppliers and their customers to help support K-12 schools through a unique cash-rebate offer. The new Hanes4Education program, exclusive to the decorated apparel industry, will be an ongoing cash-rebate offer of $0.10 per Hanes® or Champion® printed apparel item ordered through suppliers with checks going directly to the K-12 school designated by the customer.

“For the last four years, Hanes has been able to donate more than $1 million dollars to schools through Hanes4Education and our partnership with Box Tops for Education,” said Rachel Newman, director of sales & marketing for Hanes Branded Printwear. “The new Hanes4Education program continues that same commitment but with some exciting changes.”

All public and private K-12 schools registered with the appropriate state agency are eligible to participate. Schools can earn a maximum of $500 per order and $5,000 total for the calendar year.

All screen-print customers can participate by providing their invoices to local schools. This includes businesses, teams, community organizations, sororities, fraternities, etc. The Rebate Form can be completed by the customer or by the recipient school. There is no paperwork required of the supplier other than to provide the customer with an invoice that clearly states that Hanes® and/or Champion® printed products were purchased.

The addition of the Champion brand to Hanes4Education is great news for schools and teams who regularly order products for team uniforms and practicewear, as well as corporate and collegiate customers who can now provide their invoices to local schools. The Hanes4Education program includes orders of printed Hanes® or Champion® T-shirts, sport shirts and fleece. A complete listing of qualifying Hanes® and Champion® styles is available at Hanes4Education.com.

“In presenting the new Hanes4Education program to our customers, they are incredibly excited about the expansion of this program to include high schools and the addition of Champion® products,” said Newman. “And as a cash rebate program, it is easy to explain how it benefits local schools. It’s a simple and direct way for them to support K-12 schools in their communities at a time when schools are very much in need.”

Screen-print suppliers who are interested in promoting the new Hanes4Education to their customers and in their communities, can receive marketing materials and information by contacting Hanes Customer Service at hbi_service@hanes.com or by calling 800-685-7557.
