NuSign Supply now offers the D-Gen HC-200 Heat Cutter as part of the inline workflow of the D-Gen Teleois direct textile printer with built-in fixation unit. The HC-200 uses heat knives to cut and trim polyester fabric and is equipped with a position sensor that reportedly allows for precise cutting at speeds up to 492 liner ft/hr. Users can select cutting parameters based on the thickness and characteristics of the fabric. The cutter uses three blades and one take-up unit (maximum of five blades and two take-up units optional) and can automatically cut two or three individual strips out of a 74-in. (1880-mm) wide roll of fabric, with neatly trimmed edges. The HC-200 can be run inline with the Teleios printer and the D-Gen PM-180 precoating machine.
