Hirsch Buys Controlling Interest in U.S. Screen Print & Inkjet Technology

Hirsch International, Hauppauge, NY, announced it has recently acquired a controlling interest in Tempe, AZ-based U.S. Screen Print and Inkjet Technology, a company that has offered educational services, software, and supplies to the decorated-apparel industry for 29 years. During the past four years, U.S. Screen has designed and produced what the company describes as the worldwide, industry-leading digital inkjet garment printer.

“We are excited about the future of digital garment printing as part of our overall investment in the decorated apparel space,” says Paul Gallagher, CEO of Hirsch. “U.S. Screen will continue to operate as an independent company servicing its worldwide dealer network with inkjet garment-printing equipment and screen-printing and inkjet printing software and supplies.”

In 2007, Inc. magazine voted U.S. Screen the 537th fastest-growing company for 2006. The company also was ranked 12th in the top companies in manufacturing and 18th in the top companies in Phoenix, Mesa, and Scottsdale, AZ.
