Hotronix Reveals Heated Lower Platen

Hotronix Reveals Heated Lower Platen

Designed to reduce scorching.

Hotronix has introduced the Heated Lower Platen for Hotronix and Maxx clamshell presses. The 16 x 20-in. heated bottom platen is designed to allow for lower application temperature on the top platen to reduce scorching on heat-sensitive fabrics. The Heated Lower Platen reduces production time by melting adhesive from the bottom and allows 3D and die-cast emblems to retain their full dimension by applying less pressure than heated top platens, reports the company.
