Ink for Container Printing

Nazdar launched its Versacon Classic V5000 two-part, solvent-based ink for container-printing applications. Nazdar says the formulation (ink plus catalyst) provide excellent stability during shipment and storage, and once the catalyst is added the ink is fast drying, offers high gloss, and exhibits excellent resistance to a range of solvent and chemicals. The ink is suitable for use on treated polyethylene and polypropylene containers and is available in 12 standard printing colors, 12 PMS base tints, and three metallic colors.
