Those who use Vastex’s UC-1000 utility cart and would like to use it as a storage unit for coated screens may do so by installing the company’s new light-tight door kit. Vastex says the door can be installed in less than an hour with a 7/16-in. (11-mm) wrench and small Phillips head screwdriver. The door kit can be ordered at time of purchase or as an upgrade for a unit in use. The doors are made from galvanized, coated steel and painted with a powder-coated finish. Vastex says the door kit keeps screens free of dust. The UC-1000 cart can be configured to hold 10 screens or five screens with a flat utility shelf. Vastex Int’l, Inc., 1032 N.
