Low-Cure Additive

International Coatings Co.’s (www.iccink.com) new 3804 PF Low Cure Additive is a phthalate-free formulation developed for use on 100% polyester, non-woven polypropylene, and other heat-sensitive substrates that are prone to dye migration and shrinkage. ICC says adding 3804 PF to conventional plastisols inks can lower the cure or fusion temperature to 300°F (149°C) and, in some cases, as low as 275°F (135°C). ICC also notes that 3804 PF can improve flash times where spot drying is required.
