Military Wraps, Lumberton, NC, recently formed a strategic alliance with Stow, OH-based MACtac, to help realize what Military Wraps describes as its next-generation concealment technology. The company has developed Photo-Stealth and Photo-Real, which are digital, site-specific camouflage systems that can be applied to weapons, equipment, engineered structures, and buildings, as well as manned or unmanned land, sea, and air vehicles.

The Military Wraps alliance with MACtac will see the combination of Military Wraps’ photographic digital detailing and an adhesive vinyl that Military Wraps says matches terrain so vividly that vehicles, weapons, and equipment can seem to disappear into the surrounding battlefield environment—far outstripping the painted-on concealment currently used by the US military.

“MACtac will deliver all of the vinyl requirements for our clients,” says Trevor J. Kräcker, president of Military Wraps, Inc., “and we chose MACtac because of the company’s custom capabilities, technical support, quality assurance, supply-chain efficiency, and outstanding record of delivery. It is crucial to have partners that can deliver because of the importance of our products in protecting our servicemen and women, and we know we have that in MACtac.”
