Marabu Unveils UV-LED Screen Ink

At the K plastics tradeshow in Düsseldorf, Marabu introduced Ultra Pack LEDC, a UV-LED screen-printing ink designed to provide good adhesion, opacity, and gloss in packaging and container applications. Because LEDs emit no heat, the substrate is not subjected to thermal stress; the curing process also emits no ozone and requires no preheating or post-curing. The inks are suitable for a variety of substrates including pretreated HDPE/LDPE, polypropylene, PET/PETG, rigid PVC, polycarbonate, and polystyrene.
