Vastex International has introduced the Little Red X Series of infrared conveyor dryers, featuring expandable drying chambers. The series includes digitally controlled temperature and belt speed via an industrial control box that also offers diagnostic displays. The heaters are designed with closely spaced coils for high-density, medium-wavelength IR heat to increase cure speed without cold spots or undercuring.

The Little Red X1-30 is equipped with a 30 x 48-in. conveyor belt and a single IR heater of 120 or 240 V. It cures up to 130 plastisol-printed or 45 discharge-printed garments/hr.

The Little Red X2-30 features dual 240-V heaters and a 30 x 84-in. belt, with cure speeds up to 260 plastisol-printed or 90 discharge-printed garments/hr.

The X2 also includes a powered exhaust system that cools the outer cabinet while evacuating moisture and fumes; this feature is optional on the X1. Additional features include a low-friction roller belt aligner; an IR focusing system for belt-to-heater height adjustment ranging from 2 to 7 in.; and angle control.

Other options for both models include additional heating chambers, conveyor belt extensions, heavy-duty conveyor belt motors, and locking casters.
