Metro Signs President Bruno Dede didn’t blink at the request for two self-standing, 16-foot-tall uniformed players. “When someone doesn’t know how to get a job done, we figure it out,” he says. “We do everything. We may be billed as a sign company, but we create everything from nametags to 100 x 100-foot vinyl graphics.”
The images were printed on vinyl and matte-laminated to 3A Composites’ 1-inch Gatorfoam, which had been hand-cut with a jigsaw. Separate helmet images were also mounted to half-inch Gatorfoam as a dimensional layer for the player standees, which were positioned on either side of a black wooden box decorated with lettering hand-cut from 1-inch Gatorfoam.
Metro Signs also supplied Gatorfoam wall graphics of the new logos for the team’s training facility, installed using silicone and double-sided tape.
