Mimaki Adds Entry-Level Dye-Sub Model

Mimaki has added the TS30-1300 printer to its dye-sublimation portfolio. This machine is a dedicated transfer paper printer designed for shops entering the textile market or for shops producing short runs such as prototypes, samples, and customized pieces. It measures 54 in. and images up to 211 sq ft/hr (dual-CMYK mode); it can also be configured in 6-color (CMYKLkLm)mode.

It measures 54 in. and images up to 211 sq ft/hr (dual-CMYK mode); it can also be configured in 6-color (CMYKLkLm)mode.

Features include variable-dot imaging; Mimaki Advanced Pass System to reduce banding and uneven color; RasterLink 6 RIP software; and an Uninterrupted Ink Supply System that switches to a full 440-mL ink cartridge when the first is empty (4-color mode). Users can also add an optional 2-L bulk-ink system.
