Mimaki Reveals Dye Sub Transfer Printer

TS55-1800 designed for continuous, uninterrupted printing.

Mimaki is offering its 76.3-in. TS55-1800 dye sublimation transfer inkjet printer. Printing at speeds up to 1506 sq ft/hr in 4-color mode, the printer uses Sb610 inks with Eco Passport by Oeko-Tex certification to image onto Mimaki Vision Jet-X dedicated transfer paper. Users can add an optional extended heater, 10-kg inksupply (per color), and mini jumbo roll feeding unit which can accommodate rolls about 8202 ft long and aids unattended, continuous printing. Standard features include Mimaki Advanced Pass System which eliminates visible banding; Nozzle Check Unit for automatic monitoring of printhead performance and clogged nozzles; and Nozzle Recovery System which allows an operator to replace unproductive nozzles without the need for a service call.
