Mimaki Unveils UCJV300 Cutter/Printer Additions

Adds clear ink capabilities.

Mimaki has enhanced the UCJV300 line of UV-LED cutters/printers with the addition of LUS-170 clear ink and Mimaki Clear Control. Mimaki Clear Control prevents graphics from being disrupted by contaminants in the uncured ink for shortened cure time through simultaneous processing of the clear ink and UV-light radiation, the company reports. It also allows users to add a glossy or matte finish. RasterLink6 Plus now features Artista UV Texture Library, with 129 swatches accessible through Adobe Illustrator. The textures can be used with LUS-170 clear ink for various visual effects including basic, artistic, and modern patterns.
