Mimaki’s Compact Flatbed Cutting Plotter

Designed to help users create short-run or custom original goods, samples, packaging prototypes, and more, the CFL-605RT from Mimaki USA (www.mimakiusa.com) is a 20 x 24-in., multifunction flatbed cutting plotter. The machine can perform reciprocating cutting (substrates up to 10 mm thick), tangential cutting (up to 2 mm thick), and eccentric cutting (up to 1 mm thick). A creasing roller can be mounted alongside a cutting blade to perform cutting and creasing without changing tools.

Other features include a vacuum system to hold materials in place, integrated casters, and adjustable feet. The CFL-605RT includes the FineCut8 plug-in for Adobe Illustrator and CorelDraw.
