Modular Garment Press

A revolutionary new concept in automated screen-printing equipment—that’s they way MHM describes its Multi-Flex press. Each unit of the modular system is equipped with a platen and printhead and functions as an independent station. Multiple units are connected through wireless technology in a linear, oval, or L-shaped configuration. The garment moves from station to station by a DC-driven motor via an individually designed belt-transportation system. Other garment-decoration and finishing processes can be performed between each station, including digital printing, flocking, flash-curing, and cooling. MHM says the Multi-Flex is ideal for all-over printing and can accommodate designs measuring up to 19.7 x 27.6 in. (500 x 701 mm). Also available is a model that can print designs up to 31.5 x 43.3 in. (800 x 1100 mm). Print speed varies, depending on the maximum print area, and ranges between 600-1000 pieces/hr. The Multi-Flex features microregistration and uses the same pin registration system found on all other MHM machines. A control panel is located on each print station.
