Multicolor Inline Screen-Printing System

The second generation of Thieme’s 5000XL series of multicolor UV inline presses features a servo-motor drive system, new gripper system, newly designed print beam, Thieme SpeedSetUp screen-reception system, Advanced Energy Management system, new outlet station, and touchscreen operation. The 5000XL series is available in sizes up to 78 x 130 in. (2000 x 3300 mm). The servodrive system is designed for precision and reliability. The gripper system features dynamic centering, in which the gripper and substrate are successively moved to the correct position during transport. The print beam makes all settings, including squeegee angles, programmable, and it offers automatic setting of squeegee depth and parallelism, motorized floodbar-depth adjustment, and more. The outlet station features a full-size mesh transport belt with lateral guides, automatic belt-speed adjustment, and more. The touchscreen system gives operators a central point for setup and job programming, and it offers guidance with basic programs.
