Mutoh Europe, Oostende, Belgium, announced it formed a partnership with Mortsel, Belgium-based Agfa for the marketing and distribution of wide-format printers using industrial inkjet technology throughout Europe. The two companies launched a 100-in.-wide UV printer, Anapurna 100 (for Agfa) and Cobra 100uv (for Mutoh), at FESPA 2005, held in Munich, Germany in May.

Under the partnership, Mutoh Europe will manufacture all equipment at its facilities in Oostende, and Agfa will manufacture the UV-curable inks and supply its new-generation UPH inkjet heads from its headquarters in Mortsel. Promotion, marketing, distribution, sales, and service will be handled jointly by Mutoh Europe, Agfa, and their respective affiliated companies and distributors.
