Mutoh’s Direct-to-Garment Inkjet Printer

Mutoh America (www.mutoh.com) has entered the direct-to-garment inkjet market with the ValueJet 405GT, a five-color, 1200-dpi machine that was launched at the ISA Sign Expo in April. The 405GT features a small footprint, can fit onto a tabletop, and prints in CMYK + white, allowing dark garments to be decorated. Mutoh reports that the machine has a sleep-mode cleaning function and white ink recirculation to minimize downtime. It also features a large LCD touch-screen control panel.
