Pad-Printing Press

ITW Trans Tech developed its new Aries 60/90 pad-printing press for high-production use. The company says the machine’s rigid box-frame design promotes exceptional stability in applications the require a great deal of repeatability. Users can select from 2.4- and 3.5-in. (60- and 90-mm) inkcup modules, and the machine’s control panel gives access to all control functions. Cliche and pad-flow controls are located on the press’s rear panel. The Aries 60/90 features linear guide rail pad-slide mechanisms for Y and Z axes, a pad ram that moves in the Y axis to provide extended throat depth and improve operator safety, shock absorbers on each end of the pad slide, pneumatic rotary motion, and a PLC system for integration of auxiliary devices. The press supports cycle speeds of up to 1350 impressions/hr, depending on application. ITW Trans Tech, 475 N.
