Polycarbonate Films

R Tape Corp.’s new clear and white 10-mil top-coated Claritex polycarbonate films are designed for use with eco-solvent inkjet printers. R Tape says clear Velvet/Polish film is an excellent choice for backlit applications and graphic-overlay panels. The 95% opaque white Velvet/Matte film can be used for P-O-P, retractable banner stands, transit advertising, and more. Both Claritex polycarbonate films feature an ink-receptive coating formulated for dot-gain control, absrobency for heavy ink saturation, good anchorage, and accelerated drying times. The films are compatible with Epson Stylus Pro Series printers using UltraChrome GS inks; Mimaki JV3, JV33, and JV5 printers using ES3 inks; Mutoh ValueJet printers using Eco-Ultra inks; and Roland Versacamm VP-300 and VP-540 and SOLJET PRO III XC-540 printers using ECO-SOL MAX inks.
