MacDermid Autotype has added to its Autotex range of textured, screen printable polyester films with the introduction of Autotex DP. The DP F150 (150 microns) and F200 (200 microns) films were developed for use with HP Indigo digital printing presses (S2000, WS2000, WS4050) and have been officially approved by Hewlett Packard. They consist of a coated polyester base with a primer surface on the second side to promote ink adhesion. MacDermid Autotype says Autotex DP films offer outstanding flex life, provide excellent scratch and chemical resistance, and can be used for a wide variety of applications, such as membrane-switch overlays, surface applications, nameplates, labels and product markings, and fascia panels.
