Aqua-Corona 831 is a new aqueous primer/adhesive from Aqua Based Technologies. The product is designed for polypropylene, polyethylene, and other film applications. It reportedly offers excellent grease, oil, and moisture-resistant bond strengths in small application levels. The company says Aqua-Corona provides compatible combinations of LDPE Surlyn printing ink to a range of substrates, including nylon, vinyl, cellophane, aluminum foil, PVDC, polycarbonate, paper, board, polypropylene, polyethylene, and more.
