Printing Platen for Umbrellas

You might find your customers singing in the rain when you use Vastex’s umbrella platen to decorate their rain gear. It measures 7.25 in. wide in front, 16.375 in. wide in back, and 11 in. long (184 x 416 x 279 mm) and can accommodate umbrellas from youth to golf size. The umbrella platen is designed for use with the Vastex holddown frame, which has rubber grippers and a spring-steel backup to hold slippery umbrella fabric securely in place during printing. The holddown frame features an adjustable opening. Vastex says the umbrella platen, VP-UMB for the V-2000 and the VP1-UMB for the V-1000 manual presses, accepts Vastex’s quick-stretch holddown frame VQS-UMB.
