Prototyping Service

ITW Trans Tech now produces prototype parts from customer-supplied digital files. ITW’s stated goal is to help manufacturers speed up the product-development process. Customers send ITW electronic drawings to create prototype parts for test printing or analysis prior to actual production. ITW says prototype parts are ready to handle immediately after curing, which allows customers to evaluate physical models of their design concepts. ITW Trans Tech uses a Rapid Prototype 3D Printer, and the company says shapes are virtually limitless. ITW Trans Tech, 475 N. Gary Ave., Carol Stream, IL 60188, 630-752-4000, fax: 630-752-4460, Web: www.itwtranstech.com.
