Progressive Screen Machines says its new universal quartz flash can be used with most brands of automatic and manual screen-printing presses. It features a proximity sensor that detects platen motion and activates the curing unit and a zoned quartz element that can be set to flash a left chest print, a youth shirt, or a full/oversize shirt. The universal quartz flash is available in 20 x 24-in. and 20 x 32-in. (508 x 610-mm and 508 x 813-mm) models. A dual-zone version also is available. The height adjustable flash comes on casters and can be locked in position.
