SGIA Expo’s Brands Talking Sustainability luncheon, October 10, 12-2 p.m., will feature speakers from Ann Inc., REI, and Starbucks. Print buyers from each retailer will discuss how sustainability figures into their purchasing decisions.

“In a retail setting, marketing materials very often can’t be reused or recycled,” says Marci Kinter, SGIA VP of government and business affairs, in a release. “That matters to a growing number of brands.”

Attendees can sign up for the ticketed event when registering for the 2017 SGIA Expo (New Orleans, October 10-12).
