VersaWorks Version 3.0 from Roland DGA offers new features designed to meet the needs of advanced users and high-volume print shops. VersaWorks 3.0 has been re-engineered based on the latest Adobe CPSI engine (3018). The software supports AdvancedJET, Hi-Fi Express, SOLJET, VersaCAMM, and VersaArt and VersaUV printers. It also supports Roland’s GX series cutters. A new PerfCut function allows users to produce precision perforated cut lines. The software also offers new single-pass print mode and conventional dual-pass mode for white-ink applications for users of VersaUV and SOLJET PRO III XC-540 machines. Other features include a graphical user interface, capability to manage up to four Roland devices simultaneously, simultaneous RIP and print capability, advanced support tools for contour cutting, Roland Color System for spot-color matching, variable-data printing, MAX Impact Preset for rich color contrast, advanced layout features (scaling, tiling, and nesting), embedded ICC profile support, automated updates through Roland@NET, and support for TIFF, JPEG, EPS, PS, and PDF files.
